PMS and depression
Coming up a year ago (yay!) I managed to get off my anti depressents due to a few lifestyle changes and diet changes. But I still find that for a week before AF I get terrible PMS which includes bloating, swelling, weight gain etc etc but the worse is the mood swings and depression. At times I've gotten to the suicidal thoughts stage where its a stuggle between me and myself of what to do. I get emotional, cry at the drop of a hat, and snap at people that hint at anything that would bug me. However I'm fine the rest of the time.
Do any of you other ladies find this? I've heard that evening primrose oil or B12 could help, has anyone tried them?
Cheers, Haley x

Re: PMS and depression
its a interuterine device, my spelling may be wrong lol
but basically its a thingy they put into you uterus that can stay there for 5 years
it prevents pregnancy
the merina one also has a slow release hormone in it
and it helps to reduce bleeding
and pms
when i had it i was using the slim tampons and previous to that i was using the xtra large, super duper ones
so it does make a huge difference
you can get it for free from your dr if your iron levels are very low
or its costs about 5hundy (i think)
it is well worth it tho
but
seeing as you have not yet had children your dr may not want to give one
because they do carry a risk
the risk is that if u happen to catch a std
the iud can help the std travel to the fillopian (sp) tubes and damage your fertility
its worth asking about
tho.
