Today,
I went over and Kissed my italian neighbour,who were being carted-off to see His health specialist;He is dying of Cancer.
This act were accompanied by the statement,I love you,as I leant into the passengers side of the Car,where he were seated,and we held hands.
We had been on no-speaking terms for six months when i burst upon them,His wife and the Private Nurse who had come to fetch Him in,and it were a full-on act of compassion from within me.

wow - great to see this thread still going. I'm having some time alone - which is actually really great as I usually have kids to worry about. As much as I love them I miss having my own space. Also nice not to have to put a happy face on - tonight I can just 'be me' (hope that makes sense).

...and before anyone asks - no I haven't locked them outside - they are out until noon tomorrow.

hmmm my good things for today... ummm waking up and feeling a little good about myself

lol greasemonkey. I think if I was a teacher I would be realllllllly depressed My partner took one camping (well they called it that - around the logfire at his Uncles.lol. I guess it seems like camping when you are little) and my other boy is away at school. Enjoyed my night though and spent too much time on trade me (and $ ).

My day started out with a few good things, now it is crap.

It's a bugger when that happens chaos. At least there were a few good things rather than no good things at all. Be kind to yourself.

This is my favourite thread. Today I gardened for 5 hrs and now I'm so sore but feel so pleased with my progress. I hope everyone is keeping warm and happy.

Thanks to the generosity of friends gained thru TBBD, I am now sitting in what must be the worlds most comfortable, supportive office chair ever made.

I have been sitting here for nearly 30 minutes now and my upper back and neck is only just starting to tingle and go numb. In the chair I used until today, it started as soon as I sat down in it.

Cor, talk about Luxury. And Great Friends.

Can I go back to yesterday, because at the time, I couldn't think of anything that was great, but there was. I had a lovely friend ring to thank me for a dinner party that I had the evening before. I had another friend call into work and have coffee, and then another friend called in late afternoon, so we could go out, have an early meal and a couple of drinks. Thank god for wonderful friends. Today was much better and the great thing about today was, I had a lovely roaring fire, friends calling in anddddd I am getting a grip on yesterdays problem. Yay oh yay.

Today hooray was my last dentist appointment.... I believe 2 teeth missed out on a drilling, they weren't jealous in fact quite happy initially, until all the others were polished WHITE....
What a journey that has been.. today was an hour an a half in the chair...
Final dentist bill ouch still to arrive.......

Got to centre today and caught up with friends and staff- and was told i am looking much better - yeah for iron pills - feeling so much better!!


Watched a DVD with a good friend - as i was zonked on pain meds lol - good way to stop this chick from Gazoomin around the house ......

And my brother was able to get me online using skype - so i got to see their wee girl

And finally today was my second gran-daughters 1st Birthday - I got to listen to her heavy breathing on the ph arhhh love My to be 3yr old Gran-daughter told all who came to the party that ' I had been there' LOL - Phones are great.

Hi guys. Zipping in and out again, Outraeous Fortune is on so that's the good thing in my evening!!! Yay.

Evening all. I managed to get some exercise today (only 5ks on my exercise bike but it's better than nothing) so that's progress. I feel better when I'm fitter. I hope everyone is having a good evening.

Woohoo, today I was told that I might just get my Needs Assessment Visit next Tuesday. What a relief to know.

Yes! A song i wrote is nearing 'finished' sung with my 'tutor' accompanied by guitar. Recorded - hooray... some fine tweaking, and ready for another concert day. Nice to be back writing, singing and recording!!

good things in my day - family gone to feild days so i can really catch up here before work!

I couldnt let this thread slip down the page - it's my favourite. Grasping at straws here to list something good though as I am feeling very flat and numb - nothing has set me off I just am I did nod off earlier and slept for at least 5 hrs last night which for this insomniac is pretty darn good. lol. I hope everyone else is experiencing good things. Hoping for another good sleep tonight.
