The good things in your day :)
We all know that sometimes its the smallest things that can put a smile on our dials - even if just for a moment. So this thread is for us to try and put at least on positive thing about each day here. It can be the smallest thing.
Hopefully we can keep this going and come and look and the good things and it might just give us another smile for the day.

I will start off with the fact that the sun is out today and there are not many clouds out there. The sunshine always helps to make me feel a little better.
Have a good day everyone

Re: The good things in your day :)
Great idea, LG (and Hi, good morning).
I got out of bed today and didn't hit the door frame when I toppled over when I tried to walk. Its always good to miss the door frame, lol, cos theres no much room left for fresh bruises.
And although I'm too sore to be bothered bout me eating just yet, my cats fed and I've thrown a few slices of bread to the sparrows cos those guys are always on the scrounge.
If thats as good as it gets here today at my place, I can live with that.
Have a good, safe and enjoyable day, everyone.

Yay, I'm glad you missed the doorframe - damn nasty things those sometimes lol.
I just hung a load of washing out, so that's constructive.

Re: The good things in your day :)
I took some time out and sat outside in the sun with a novel. It wand warnas nice and ceril (our cat) came and joined me and sat on my lap.
Also was a little naughty, sat in one of the parks we have here and had with the lady I board. It is nice to get out of the house when I am allowed.
Oh and finally found my sunglasses, they been awol for a week and I have been getting myself into moderate panic attacks each time I looked for them.

yay, glad you had some good things in your day Roswell.
I had a good day yesterday too. I went to a farewell lunch for one of my old work colleagues, and after going back up to my old work, got told there could be the possibility of some casual work there for a bit. Would be a bonus if that happens, even though it's not the work I want to do, some extra money never goes astray.

Hey, where has everyone been today? Is it a sign that we have all had "good" days today?
I haven't done much, but the sun has been out all day, so that's always a good thing.

Good to hear you made use of that sunshine Roswell.
Well I am going to share my good vibe of late, and hope that it brings some fresh hope to you all.
As you know, living with the Black Dog can be a real drain, and can cause chaos in our lives. We have a bad habit of pushing away the people that mean the most.
Well, since I have been coming here, things are starting to change - I realised yesterday, I think, that I am not doing that as much now. I have been with my partner for just over 3 years now, and as anyone who has had a live in relationship while dealing with depression will know, its not an easy ride.
However, lately I have noticed I am not as stressed, Im not taking Everything out on him any more. I am actually starting to be almost a nice person lol. And, I am getting much better response from my partner because of it, so things are starting to be a bit smoother at the moment.
So thanks Pat for setting this up. And thanks to everyone who is here. For making it a place where I can talk, for a place where I can read what others are going through, for a place where I am no longer the odd one out, and for a place where I can just chat as well.
Thanks again all of you. And may this sanctury help all of us in some way. I know I will keep on coming in, pretty much most days..
Take care, and have a good day today

Re: The good things in your day :)
I got some sleep last night but was full of very vivid weird dreams.
1 about my daughter and 1 about my parents. Dreaming about my parents always leaves me with a sick feeling the next day. I have only just gotten up but feel exhausted and want to go back to bed!!!
