Petition re ACC changes to processes for sexual abuse/rape/etc counselling and support

Hi Everyone

ACC are pushing to make changes in the processes by which people can have a claim accepted and support and counselling given for people who have experienced sexual abuse, rape and other sexual assaults.

Books, Thank You - This is an important Thread.

I have my own experiences of accessing ACC-Sensitive Claims 'assistance' and with what I've read thus far, I'm damn pleased I made the effort to 'do it' back in 2006 and 2007.

I dunno just how much ACC and its associated wunderkids consider 'us' to be capable of coping with safely, but this is gotta be stretching the bounds most unreasonably in my opinion.

It took me 28 years to to tell anyone of my sexual abuse as a child and that was incredibly hard even back in 2006. Reading this lastest nonense from ACC, I can't see where I could have found the inner resources to go through much more than I already did.

AND NOW ACC, YOU WANNA MAKE HEALING EVEN LESS ACHIEVABLE?
