omg I have just made

the best ever ginger crunch, if this doesn't make everybody melt in this household I dont know what will. Man I dont even do sweet, but i think I may have to restrain myself, lol. Wish me luck guys.

I don't mind, I don't like Ginger Crunch anyway, so don't waste ya time offering me any, 'cos I'll say No.

Anyway, I saw a Spitfire aeroplane today, and I bet you didn't. A Spitfire is a lot more gooder than a piece of Ginger Crunch. So there!

lol Paddy, tis true i never saw a spitfire (sobs) however, pokes tough out, your spitfire has been and gone and I am still eating ginger crunch and will be for a few days as I made an extra lrg batch, yummmm. Ok I could share some with you, but if you don't like it!!!. Oh and my lovely man did do the dish's, aren't I the lucky girl, hehe.

Daze

Crunch up 2x packets wine biscuits and 1 packet of malt biscuits. In microwave melt 300gm butter and can of condense milk (takes about 2mins), pour over broken biscuits and fold all together. Spread out and flatten into slice tray and place in fridge until set (couple hours) and then make topping.
Icing. In sml saucepan combine 75g butter 3/4 cup icing sugar, 2 tablespoons golden syrup and 3 teaspoons ground ginger. Heat until butter is melted, stir constantly. When thickened pour over biscuit mix.

So easy and the base is just lovely.
