I had a sneak-preview last night
and observed my partner move from pain into the bright
so quickly,Ive already had my treat!
(sneaks a chokky,and one for the missus!

Never got anything from Hubby today, so I bought myself a diamond ring of TM and gave him the bill.

Thank you Haley for the lovely flowers and chocs! Couldn't we pretend that we have a loving partner and buy our 'inner child' something nice or treat that lovely child to something special. Valentine's day for the small 'self' ..... i.e. The 'big' self could spoil the small 'self' ...... Just a thought. We don't celecrate valentines day - but last night we watched a ship come into port - the tugs were pulling and pushing it - turned it right around ... and it was magic - lovely evening sun, something interesting to watch .... so that was my 'valentines' gift to myself (a day early, but who cares) ...... Daze

I don't see why it should make single people feel inferior, when I was single, valentines day didn't worry me ....I still say happy valentines day to my friends and sent all my friends, male and females a text or message saying happy valentines day yesterday as I did when I was single....just another day to tell your friends how much they mean to you IMO.
In the states they get the children to give them to each other in class, you don't have to be in love to enjoy it...it is what you make it to be.
