I really hope 2011 is really good to you and that depression doesn't feature much, if at all.

Take care of yourselves and make sure you post what you are doing tonight.

Us? We (ie the boys and I) are going to Dennys for a lateish dinner, then off into town to watch the Skytower explode for 12 minutes. Peter is working there tonight, so hopefully he can set up a great vantage point for us,

Taking a box a chocolates with us, because, to quote Forrest Gump; life is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you are going to get.

I just hope we all 'get' good things over the next 12 months, with less lows and more (moderate) highs.

Going to Brooklands park again tonight for some free entertainment then to bed. Don't really celebrate New Years but hope everyone has a good one.

We don't normally celebrate new year, BUT I am looking at this new years as a new beginning...

I am staying in and will celebrate with a cup of hot chocolate or coffee or maybe just a cold drink. Wishing everyone a great 1011 and hope to catch up on chat some time. It seems very empty in there these days, maybe that can change in 1011

I have had tea on the riverbank and it lifted my mood.

I am heading into my local bar later, they have a DJ on playing 70s, 80s and 90s music.

I am being brave as I am going alone.

Yeah, Happy New Year all of youse out there in TBBD Land.

I hope that 2011 is an even more goodera year than 2010 has been and its been pretty darn good, all things considered - I mean, look, we all made it through it, which is a major achievement, innit eh?

Bloody Well Done, You Lot, bloody well done indeed. Remember, we've done 2010 now and we survived it so we don't need to dwell on stuff that mighta or might not have happened - unless we choose to revisit those memories.

I celebrated New Years Eve with a scoop of chips, a piece of fish and a pineapple fritter. I Zoomed around town with a friend and did a random collection of pallets to be chopped up for kindling

Once home, my partner and I played in the garden taking dorky photos. I then wrote a complaint and sent it to The Book Depository ... sent minutes after the sky tower fire-works LOL.

I then snuggled up in bed with a Janet Frame book, called Mona Minim and The Smell of the Sun, and read several chapters out loud to my partner.... FUN,

I hope this year brings each of you happiness and a smooth path in life.
