I find therapy sessions really hard aswell, but in my mind if they are not emtionally hard then you are not covering the issues that need to be covered.

What I use to do after my therapy sessions was go and get a treat. For example wehn I was having the sexual abuse counselling I would go down the road and get a Goody Goody Gum Drop ice cream.

I think one of the worst side effect with meds, or with health problems is weight gain. I wonder if you have someone you could pair up with and set exercise goals and diet goals with. The buddy system style works for some people, accountability and stuff good motivator too.
