I too, get nervous and anxious and it is taken as "anger'. WTF????

Good luck with those teenagers, and I do wish you would record some of it

for them and yourself, there's nothing worse than seeing yourself behaving

I've noticed that people with depression seem to be the most giving and caring people. They always seem to get their feelings trampled on by other people. I think being more empathic and sympathic makes you more susceptible to depression as you actually care about people! Don't give this up as it's a wonderful quality to have!
Don't feel bad about this, I'm sure it's more to do with your friend's sharing issues than you!

The fact that you dredged up the courage to get on a bus and go to the WINZ office feeling like you did was braver than a brave thing, we sit there, terrified and they accuse US of being aggressive, yet you came here and shared that experience, which definitely I coulld feel as I am in the same predicament of being at their mercy.

Yes the good weather will allow me to fullfill my role as dog poo patrol lady.

Today I go out for the first dry day and pick up after three dogs.

Great for the old self esteem, right???

Hi wowinnz ..... I wonder if you've thought of keeping a journal, very safely, at home ... not on here. It needs to be well away from prying eyes. Or writing out things - then burning the pages (if you have a fire) - or tearing into little tiny pieces and flushing away - not pages and pages at a time - might have a plumber after you!!

Some people find this very therapeutic. If you can imagine 'things' going up in smoke or swirling away with the water. Don't know if this is helpful or not.

Not at all - it can be, I found anyway a very useful way of helping find 'things' and burdens you don't need to carry with you all of the time.

As you say, writing them down doesn't mean you shan't think of them - quite the opposite - but, I wonder too, if the very act of writing them down, in the words we need to use to describe these thoughts and questions and fears and stuff, doesn't just help shrink them a little bit too?

Who knows, it may open a gate in a pathway to you being able to let some things go as your perspective and skills with coping change?

Writings fun, but and not everything ya write has to be deadly serious.

Like, I know, but no one else ever will, that this afternoon, I pranged me mobility scooter, not by running into a wall that suddenly appeared in front of me, but by running into a wall that was right beside me. Doh, I still dunno why or how it happened no one will ever know 'cept me so whats the harm? Exactly. We are allowed to make dicks of ourselves, as well as to take life seriously when we need to.

Express, don't Supress. Hows that for a site Motto?
That and Misery isn't Compulsory, lol. I like that one too.

Please see the nasty stuff inside you as constipation. Its got to come out truly.

Your pen and paper is the castor oil if you like.

Once written down, the frontal lobe of your brain will judge your words and the emotions you have attached to them.

Then donna set them free like Daze said a sacrificial candle or fire will confine them to the etherea. You don't have to share the stuff with anyone.
Just send the words and thoughts and feelings back to the universe who sent them to you in the first place.

You don't have to carry the baggage around with you anymore if you don't want to.

Wow you are a really lovely mum. Those boys are sooo lucky to have you. You deserve so much better. I hope when your boys grow up they will know how wonderful you are. It sounds like they are playing you and enjoying it. But I am not a mum and don't have any children and perhaps my opinion of your boys is too harsh. You did the right thing.
