Am I wrong

I was recently advised that someone I ahd tried to help a while ago had recently been committed to a psyc hospital. I was relieved cos she would finally get the help she needed.

Then last night I was advised she was on life support. Details are sketchy but the person who told me and I suspect an OD.

I said it may be for the best if she passes. She has been really hurting, pushing those tryign to help her away and generally down.

My reasoning is that if she passes she will finally not be hurting and finally be at peace.

Am I being cold, callous and nasty? Should I be more affected by this?
