Ugh I hate getting sick

I had yesterday off work cos I had a headache and felt nauseated, so I went home and slept for a few hours, couldn't stand the thought of food but forced down some pumpkin soup. Thought it may have just been anxiety with moving to the new job, but today I feel run down again, still have that headache, feel less nauseated but now am getting a sore throat. Grrr I wish I could just be either full blown sick or not sick at all!! My try push myself to work through the day anyways cos I don't really feel sick enough to go home but I'm definitly not 100%

Argh feeling a bit overwhelmed I think, been explained a whole heap of stuff to do and confused with when I'm transfering etc.. going home to bed sounds like a nice option right now but I can't keep doing that when it gets a little tough!

maybe u are a bit unwell
but also anxiety can do nasty things to your body
make you feel really crook
i get sick every now and then and its not real proper sick it anxiety sick
the buggar of it all is that one of my anxiety triggers is sickness
so i end up in a real state lol
but i find
that if i make myself keep going
it passes
and then i realise
i am not sick
just anxious.

i think if you have a sore throat tho
that u might be getting a cold

stay home in bed
and rest

Thanks mista, I think your right, its a mix of both. I'm busy at work atm and I know what I'm doing so I feel heaps better, yet I still do have a bit of a headache and sore throat. So perhaps there is actual sickness there too, not just the anxiety. Also my bf has a headache and sore throat too and its going round at his work so maybe I caught it off him.

Hope I'm feeling better before the weekend, I have a big one planned!

Think there is something going round, last 4-5 days I've had headaches and sore throats/loss of voice. Brother's had nearly a week off school with same thing, sister has had a couple of days off and know some of my mates in Cambridge with same sort of symptoms.

Thanks becks I am feeling better just in time for the weekend!! Still feeling a bit sick but I think thats cos of starting the citalopram.
