warm fuzzies

ok I have to gloat. My wee grandaughter not even 2.5yrs, not only can tell you her name, but she can now, as of today, tell you, she lives with nana and momma, but she can also say she lives in Kaiapoi. Wow she's so cleaver.

I agree, warm fuszzies are great, so i have to tell you about yesterday (sorry). Wee one climbed into my bed in the very early hours of the morning (maybe why I'm so tired) and for about 20mins, she just stared at the ceiling and each time I asked her what see was doing, she said listening. We listened for birds, trucks, cars, motorbikes, voices. We need to enjoy all that is around us each day.

Ok shareing again, just cos I can. My wee grandaughter climbs into my bed EVERY morning, (Yarn), but I wouldn't have it any other way, cos she's just the best. Each day I can teach her something. At this age they are such a sponge. In the last week, while we lie there, looking at the sealing, I have her telling me her first and last names, who she lives with and what town. Today we are working on her middle name and why she got it. Middle name came from her mums fabulous aunty, who died just before she was born of cancer. Such an amazing lady, who would have been sooo proud of our wee Ella. This weekend we are going to sort out photo's so she can learn all about her aunty Rose. I just love the cuddles she gives me in the mornings, not to mention the kisses. We just love each other to bits and I wish all children could have that very special time with their grand parents.
