Ok... put all dishes( unwashed) in their bed then make the bed...apply every colour makeup you have( remember more is more) then drive them anywhere they want to go and escort them to the door ...wear orange gumboots to bed, offer to make them breakfast then fill the bath with porrage and wear said gumboots in said bath to mix it while singing I HAD A DREAM....wash the clothes with some pink bats (for softness!)Pick up everything off the floor and put in rubbish bags and store in the only toilet...buy a machine that you can put all the food in and make them pay to get it out.... any one else got any suggestions?

Re: silent screams
Well, you've got a golden opportunity ..... Grab the teenagers while they know everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, seriously, they can be very difficult and two of them is double trouble!
Good luck with tomorrow - good plan - makeup, dressed nicely - that can be useful at times - might make you feel more in control?

no 2 has not been doing his science homework, got a letter from his teacher. Felt obliged to talk about it wiht him, waste of fn time. doesn't care doesn't want to know and blames my talking to teachers on his older brothers complete failure at highschool. THREATENED ME with .. if you do anything about it / talk to the teachers, email the school..I'll fail too.... Doh and I thought they were responsible for whether they did their own school work and whether they passed or failed.. not ME!!
to top it all off No1 Son BACKED HIM UP... usually they ahve nothing good to say to each other, unless they are ganging up an me..
such in motherhood.. Happy mothers day.... oh and I didn't even recieve a single good wish from them on sunday.. nice eh.
I'm going to leave the dinner on the stove and go walk the dogs.. at least i know they love me.. or maybe they are just grateful,, either way its a step up from the boys.

Re: silent screams
lol sounds like you live in the same household as i do. Difference being the two teenagers in this household are not mine, if they were they would be sorted quick smart. I however, have to make changes slowly, but they will get the message, you dont help, we dont help. By next week, should these wee darlings not have learnt to bring in the washing, ours will be brought in and theirs left out, they will have to bring it in at some stage. Next we will do another couple of days to see if the message has sunk in and if not I am heading out to colour co ordinate washing baskets with their bedrooms, (have put much thought into this hehe) and we will sit them down and tell them they are responsible for their own washing. They can wash it, hang it and fold it. If we get to this point clothes dryer will be disconnected. Actually prolly all we need to do is switch it off at wall, bloody good chance they cant workout they just need to flick the switch. Miss 17 announced this morning that a manderin had explouded in her handbag and that someone was going to have to wash it. Dad suggested very nicely that she may need to do it herself and yah have to laugh, but the look on her face of horror, then she raised her voice and said 'I dont have time I have to work at four, I need it washed today so it can dry over the weekend. Oh in her defense, she did say, very loudly, I'm sorry but someone else is going to have to do it". I will be checking tonight that no one else has the time to do it. Heres the thing a little team work, a little gratitude, a little please, oh and a little respect, go's along way with me. Maybe we could borrow Paddy's tank, lol.

Re: silent screams
Loud sighs of relief my son has grown up and has a family of his own.... sheeks I only had the one child - that was tough enough.
Hold on to the thought that one day they will grow up and have children of their own.......
