Re: ExErCiSe
My boys are away for a week, and the house is so empty without them!
Sigh no excuse not to go for a walk up our hilly street now! Not this week!

Bloody hell! My legs have just learnt that the walk last night was actually 4km's, not 2!! and they learnt that as we were about 1/2 way through the same walk tonight!
They also decided to take the rest of the body for a jaunt around New Lynn today at lunchtime, omg... another couple of k's

Having dogs is great, because I HAVE to walk every day, no matter what the weather is like. It's really lovely now it's lighter later into the evening too. I got a pedometer for christmas but I haven't used it yet.

Our fences are rather chitty but I crave for a dog almost as much as I used to crave for another baby lmao.

Re: ExErCiSe
mylife have you tried a halti or gentle leader on her? Our dogs are easy to walk, but they are all small and dont pull on the leads.

We have tried that and she is still and pain to walk, that is the only thing she really does 'wrong' all the 'other' commands she follows!

Re: ExErCiSe
I get excercise. I got a puppy, I bend down to clean up her oopsies several time a day (can't wait till she grows out of that!!!). I waddle after her like an oompa loompa when she steals my socks. I damn near had a heart attack when I had to chase her down the road because she stole my fire engine red bra and tried to go wind surfing - neighbours thought it was hilarious but she needs to go for works so whats more important for me is I get to see the world through her eyes, I find it calming and at the same time up lifting. At the end of the day when she is all tuckered out she like to cuddle, chew my fingers sigh and just 'be' she is teaching me a lot
