I'm taking some 'Sick Leave'
Hiya. I thought I’d better mention I am on ‘sick leave’ at the moment and am unlikely to be online again before Friday evening (if I can get outa here by then) but more likely, next week, when I’m back home.
Somehow I hurt my back again on Monday morning and been it’s a bit too sore even for me to ignore. So, I saw a doctor, who saw some x-rays, and subsequently told me to present myself to a hospital where they are now playing around with different potions etc to try and find one that lets me want to feel like life is still worth living. Cos pain – sometimes, it really hurts, you know?
I’m not supposed to be sitting at a computer for a few more days but hey, their puter chairs are a lot flasher than mine, so I sulked so much I was given a few minutes online time – woohoo.
Take care, you lot, every one of you. And with a bit of luck, if my tunnel is finished in time, I will be out on Friday, but to get that, I’ve had to promise I’ll spend the weekend at a friends place so I have a few more days of ‘rest’. Eeeew. I bet the cat’s dirt box will be bad by then. A neighbour is feeding my cat, but oh dear. That dirt box is gunna be bad.
Anyway, sorry. Take care and I’ll catch up next week, sometime I hope.

Re: I'm taking some 'Sick Leave'
Take care Pat hun. Use your sick leave, you're allowed, as long as we know that's what's happening. Maybe you need to do what you're told for a week or so, (shock, horror!!).
As for the kitty box, get clothes peg, stick on nose, get plastic bag, put litter tray in bag & turn upside down, (this is best achieved outside), tie plastic bag, rinse litter tray with hose, (or pour in bleach & fill with water), go inside, wash hands & have shortbread. go back out in half hour & finish job. Go back inside, have more shortbread & try to figure out how to train Alice to use the toilet.
You started a really successful website, you can conquer litter tray!!
We're all be with you in spirit, which is of course a long way from smelly litter tray.

hey there paddy,
I am pleased to see you taking a break even if its for something i wish i could fix for you. And i know not the best reason to take one either but I'm thinking of you sending you angels and hugs.
Belle.

Re: I'm taking some 'Sick Leave'
I sometimes wonder whether its appropriate for 'depressios' to hang out with other depressios on a forum because we'll all just drag each other down. Of course I see the alternative argument as well.
Enjoy your time away Pat.

gee!
Paddy,
Im so sorry you gotta have continual pain!
Here's hoping that the Hospitalization turns up with the right solution
and you get to smell the state of your Cats (poo) Box!
Get some relief with a Hard painkill for a few days....and then work with it as it comes slowly back into your focussed minds-eye!
Remember to SIGH on the exhails, and allow your emotions to flow whilst you return back the way you came in.Coupling emotional energy with the breath is a usefull technique to reduce many chronic pains.
Making the vibrations with sound (oughsss,or aurrrsss) on the exhail
helps release concentrated energy of which Pain IS!
wishing you a beautiful Nurse....lol
and you get to see the film,
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly!
love

Re: I'm taking some 'Sick Leave'
Hiya, and Thanks, all of you.
I'm home (as of about 45 minutes ago) and yep, the dirtbox was bad. Very bad. Poor bloody cat.
I've promised to try to reduce my time here at the puter, cos its not good for my body sitting like this, so I'll see how it goes.
I've spent the last several days sleeping, which has been pretty good. You don't even have to be in an hospital to do that now, you can be offered a bed in a resthome now, so I've found.
I hope that you lot have been taking care of yourselves and each other (yeah, course you have, Thanks).
Anyway, I'm back. Sore, fedup, but back.

welcome to your Home Paddy!
its changeable,
as are all things
in Natures Life!
investigate

only last night
I needed a sleep to come clear.
Struggle confirms attachment
