Sertraline?
Has anyone had experience with Sertraline for anxiety? I'd be keen to know how it goes/went. They're keen to try it on me for anxiety but given the effects of past antidepressants I'm not too keen on it.
Track record:
Paroxetine - Completely spaced out all the time
Citalopram - Short fuse, easily confrontational
Effexor - Low motivation, slight detachment from reality (as though being there and watching it but not feeling there) Inability to remember much from the four years of being on it << Reason I am reluctant to try any other medications, also a nightmare long after coming off it, took ages to normalise.
Fluoxetine - Absolutely no effect what so ever

Re: Sertraline?
i was switched end of may from fluoxetine onto sertraline with lorazepam as 'backup' for attacks, and its now over a month and i feel so much worse now than i did before i changed, its like my depression has suddenly jumped off the ice shelf and im sinking faster than ever before, so im going back to doctor on monday to get help, my anxiety is worse and even the lorazepam isnt helping much anymore, and im scared to take more than the 2.5mg tablet he told me to take up to 3 x a day

Re: Sertraline?
I was put on Sertraline when I was admitted to the Psychiatric Ward briefly last year. I did not enjoy it. It made me extremely nauseous to the point of throwing up after my daily dose.
