What are you up to today?
every time i come in, i read a little bit more of how things are for you guys and sometimes i post, sometimes not if it is a thread that has lingered from months and months ago.
but usually there is someone here other than i, also not posting a great deal. so i thought i would as you - what are you up to today? how are you feeling? would you like to say "hi"
I am at work, and currently supposed to be doing accounts. later i have two appointments to look through rental properties and hopefully sign up to my new home. later, i will collect the kids from school and head off to soccer training. i REALLY hope one of these houses is suitable, and i can sign up today.

Re: What are you up to today?
Well, I have to go walking in the rain and its not as romantic as that may sound. I need groceries, pffft.
Other than that, I'm going to sit with my legs elevated (not a dignified look, but it helps my spine), drink gallons of coffee, wonder why I can't sleep even with pills, and read. Exciting, eh.
Please, feel free to 'rejuvenate' threads that are of interest to you - it doesn't matter that they might not have been added to for a while - they are still there, so we can if we want to.
Best wishes on the house hunt. Hope it works out well for you,
Paddy.

Re: What are you up to today?
Today i have found a house.
Yesterday i found a house too, but lots of people want that one. I'm scared they might not give it to me, and that I will need to keep looking. Today i found Plan B. and it feels good to have a plan B.
a healthy, straight spine seems like a better option than dignity - but what would i know
I am at work, but i can't really focus and i'm all facebooked out.

Re: What are you up to today?
I've been out and done the groceries. Came home, had lunch, put the heat pump on cause its so cold in this house today, and i'm sitting in bed trying to keep warm cause i'm cold. I'm ment to be doing the housework, dusting and vacuming but i don't have any motivation for it.

Re: What are you up to today?
yeah i have a free day tomorrow. I Just don't like having to go and help with the shopping which takes over an hour, and then have to come home and do housework too. I know its only dusting and vacuming, but still. hubby has done the bathroom, so at least i don't have to do that. But i will get it done tomorrow morning.

Re: What are you up to today?
i've had the flu all week. started in my head, moved into my chest yesterday and feels as though it dropped into my bones overnight.
i'm quite sure i couldn't do the groceries if i wanted to.
and i as much as the house needs to be vacuumed, i can't because the cleaner is broken. *evil laugh*
today i'm gonna sit on my couch and rest up, the thing that i should have done since Monday, but chose to soldier on at work instead

Hi Fluffy_Ducks,
What am I up to today?
Got up. Had a coffee. Printed some assignments for posting.
Went for a walk today down along the park lands. Saw a few ducks and lots of little ducklings. Posted the assignments. Bought a pie and an apple for lunch. Now in the library pushing TBBD along. Will be here until closing time.
Then back outside and home to feed the cat. Her name is Gaelia after a person I used to know who spent a lot of time preening herself and always late but never cared. When people ask me what the cat's name is I say Fluffy because she's fluffy and Gaelia is an unusual name.
Will look for the scary bug that was crawling up my wall last night. Here's a link to an article and picture about these things. It ran under my bed. Couldn't find it. I've never seen one of these things before. Hope I never see another one either.
Then it's a movie before trying to get a descent sleep.
The person above me has been thumping around in the early hours of the morning lately - 1am to 5am or so. Some time ago when I had to get up early I went up at 2:30 and asked her to be quiet. She apologised but she's back at it again. I must admit she's been quiet the last couple of nights but I fear, being Friday and the weekend coming up, she'll probably be back to her old tricks again. *sigh*
Is this like what you were expecting?

Re: What are you up to today?
hey Scamp -
i have no expectations , just thought i'd give the space to share.
today i finished my book. number 8 in the terry goodkind series. my bf has read them before me, and he says they get progressively worse. i love the main characters, after becoming attached after 8 books, but so i'm reluctant to keep reading, but i want to know what happens too LOL
big of housework, piles of dishes after last nights dinner party - which was a beautiful way to celebrate a friends birthday. plus, the lemon meringue pie was so good, i made another today hehe
