Aw LC, I want kitten cuddles now too please. I've got a Tabby on the desk, so I have to type this quietly, or else! The New Depression Thread. - Page 3 565675

Are you eligible for a free Flu Jab, LC? No, I couldn't make sense of study money vs sitting moping at home money either. Frustrating, isn't it hon.

Reet, sounds like you are well rid of him, hon. What a fool to waste such an opportunity and to be a liar too. Tell ya what, come Next Leap Year Day, I'll prolly still be on The Shelf so if, ... Or get a kitten, your choice.

Gotta love that I wont be going back now! So sick of it! Thats my 2nd warning so I replyed by saying: Hi Esme,
I may have broken the rules by posting the link but I was offering people a safe place to talk about their depression.  If Trademe was taking complaints seriously then they would be doing something to stop a certain poster
from hurting those who are very low, confused and easilly hurt.
6 regular posters of this thread have moved to the other place as they know they are taken seriously. I accept Ive broken your rules but for the mental well being of others on the depression thread I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Wonder if I will get in trouble for that too??

Bl..dy hick. I am sooooooooo glad I am not on there any more. I better watch what I write on here as well because it can be read by anyone.

I feel a lot better tonight. I went to the ladies doc at the hospital today and everything is in it;s right place. He He. Still more years left in me. Ya hoo.

I have been trying to stay positive about most things. We are not sure if we are taking the little man away with us as yet but with the way things are going he will be coming.

Any way I hope we do to go racing easter weekend.

Brucie I know how you feel but we can;t do anything about what has been happening. All we can do is come here and help each other out when we need it.

hugs to you all

I have written/posted something on the other thread that perhaps I shouldn't have,

and it wasn't meant as an insult but has obviously been taken as one, it was meant as a statement of how I see that "things" character, and unfortuneately I see nothing positive.

so I'm sorry if I upset you guys,

i'm going to stay out of that thread now, altho its going to be rugged

I am hurt and angry that one small man could do/cause so much damage and pain.

but am sending you all lovely lovely giggles and hugs and wishing you all a great day. The New Depression Thread. - Page 3 928633

Hi LC. My cat Chance was a wild kitten who we saved of a tender 10 days old, his eyes were still closed. He was trapped under my daughters paddling pool all night, I thought it was a bird that was making a noise but he started again in the morning so I sent my son #2 out to have a look and see what it was. He came back with this tiny wet black thing that looked like a small rat. We took him to the vets and were told to feed him 2mls every 2 hours and be prepared if he didn't make it! Well my youngest was then only six months old, so I had two babies to look after and was pretty full on for me. But he made it and now he is 8 years old! He loves me but still gets pretty stoppy if you do something that he doesn't want you to do. He is also very terratorial and keeps all the other cats off the section. He is the one who I had to take to the vets last year as he was having peeing problems and ended up staying in the hospital and now he is on a special diet. He's lost a lot of weight too and is much happier again now. I guess he's had two chance's now Smile We caught his sibblings as they were living under the house and the cat society came and picked them up, they were very wild, but were hopeful to get them new homes. The father was also caught but had to be put down as he was out of control, he was a real pain in the bumb used to pee on everything and the last straw was when he peed on my clean washing that was outside in a basket!! It's a good feeling being able to help eh? Good on you LC cat

*~* MORNING ALL *~* just

have had a lovely lie in this morning, even had Mr 16 come and hassle me and wee play cuddles. ( something you HAVE to treasure from a 16 yr old those moments are few and far between) normally of a Friday morning I get up and take hubby to work but today I just wanted some me time, its been great so far.

LC ~ I take my hat off to you, you are seriously a trooper, wow you must have your hands full with all those cats, and 7 of them are your own, how cool is that? I am jealous, if I had more money I would have more cats, one day when all the lads have left home and I dont have to feed two sets of very large empty bodies. (haha) I love the photo of your kittens and wish you were closer so I could cuddle them, they are gorgeous.

Reet ~ how cool for you to have a cat from that stage, sounds like hes a real character too. How are you today? do you have today off and to yourself?

Max ~ sending you hugs matey, I'm with you ( altho I'm guessing here) that your in the same box as me at the moment ( sick & tired of bodies that dont do what we want them to do) its soo frustrating isn't it? my ankle is also playing up ( I damaged it years ago and it does this) so I really really sympathise with you , it must be much much harder for you tho as you have a wee man that I'm sure has energy to burn. Please rest up and look after you.

Brucie ~ thanks for those words of encouragement I really needed them, I did/do think its very unfair ( altho they did have a point) of those people to come into the thread and post what they did but not to post when everyone else ( the ones with the illness, the ones that NEED the support) was being attacked and hurt, BUT I am guessing that those posters dont have depression and therefore dont understand what we have suffered.
anyhoo I am going to try not to go back to that thread again, something has posted in there and he is obviously feeling smug and self righteous, it makes me want to vomit, so because my world can do without him, I will stay away.

hows Sabre today?

Hi Beej, I do have a day off from uni, but still need to get into some reading which I haven't done as yet, been doing a bit of cleaning etc. Wish I was home by myself but miss 15 hasn't gone to school all week one excuse after the other so I have discussed with her that I'm taking her laptop off of her until she starts going to school again. She even agreed that it's fair!!! She had blood test which came back that she has a liver problem, but a second test says she's all clear, so no medical cert for her and no reason not to go to school. Her rabbit stopped eating but seems to be getting better now with a bit of extra attention and force feeding and some meds... pets they are great company but can cost heaps!! I took her to the vets on Wednesday just to be told $52.00 later that there was nothing wrong with her. Dd started chatting on Trademe to the rabbit experts and got help from them, a lovely lady looked at her in Waikanae who specialises in rabbits and gave her some treatment and advice.

Yes I agree with you about a certain someone on the other website about being smug with his post this morning. I went and had a look to see what was going on after your comments earlier today about it. I can't believe the ordassity (sp) of the man!!

Good to hear you had a lie in this morning, and especially the cuddles and fun, must have made your day Smile

Sorry Paddy!! Kitten cuddles are the best I reckon, lol. The one we trapped last night is a little tabby and is such a sweetie, quite scared/timid but should be able to tame him up fairly easily since he's still fairly young.

Hi Reet, yes I have to agree that it is such a great feeling being able to help. Good on you for raising and saving Chance, I bet he is real pleased about it too.

Hi Beej, yea hands are full with cats, hopefully in the next month of so we can get the spare room cleaned out and we will stick some cupboards for food/bedding etc and some crates for the cats so we don't need to have them shut in our room or bathroom.

This is the little one we trapped last night. His/her sibling is black and fluffy but managed to escape when we were transferring from trap to cage. Mum is same colouring as this baby. Hopefully will trap mum and other baby tonight.

LC, wanna swap for the manky flea bitten feral-rabbit looking and tempered shorthair Tabby that currently rules my life?

She bites and scratches and does rabbit kicks with her hind legs, so ya'd gottaa be careful, k? And she purrs as she makes ya bleed. Speyed so she can't breed like a rabbit though in every other respect she resembles one.

I'll find a small carton and post her off to you, hows that sound.

Paddy.

P.S. Look out, she's cunning too. Just eaten the chicken I was going to have tonight. Ah well, beans again!

Hi all I am basslake on trademe but obviously a different name on here. I am really pleased you decided to create a support thread on here. I wish there where more real live ones but unfortuantly I have decided my breakdown has left me with strong feelings of ocd and am not sure how I would goin a group setting.

I have had a prick of a week and now just feel angry with everyone,I look for the bad and to top it of my husband lost his second grandson this week the baby's mum had pre-eclampsia and the baby died while in tummy at 38 weeks. So I have been stressed about him as he has alot of the symptoms of deprression and I just dont know if he can make it through ok. He lost his dad to a medical mishap september last year and has been coping with me and my breakdown (2 years ago) my mums car accident, his mum now depending on him daily ( we only relative that lives close by) so yeah he has alot on his plate. Just dont know how I can help!

I have been short with my family and just feel real stink again. I was asked to apply for a shop job but cant because it will interfere with my kids student allowance and our family tax so yup stuck again Sad I just dont see much Smile in my days!

Hey Kathchris

I'm glad that your on here, you know that your not the only one that looks for the bad things when your ( we're) down aye? thats a very common thing.

I am so sorry for the loss of your husbands 2nd grandson that must be a terrible thing for all of you involved, absolutely gutwrenching, and I bet you've been stressed all week, it sounds like you and your husband have been thru a heck of alot in the past year,

how can you help? easy, just by being you!, he is your husband because he loves you and you are precious to him, so if you can relax and look after yourself a bit, that will give you a bit of leeway to relax and therefore to be able to support him better, at the moment I'm guessing that theres not much that you can do ( in a physical manner) but that a cuddle, love touch, a smile, ( when he least expects it) and a positive word or two , will really really be helpful,

in the meantime just keep an eye on him, and if you do think that he is going down hill depression wise, maybe a trip to the doctor, and maybe you and your husband could go out for a walk, exercise is really really good for helping to keep depression at bay.

sending you hugs and wishing you all the best. flower

Kathchris

just to add to that about the job, I really do feel for you, having at child on the student allowance is a really hard thing to live with and very very limiting and nasty for the parents, what a wonderful parent you are to put your child first.

very awesome.

your very welcome,

please look after you first, that will make a huge difference for your husband, cos then he will have one less very special person to worry about and you will feel good & you will then be able to help him out and that will make you feel even gooder ( to quote Paddy)

have a great day alien

I am sooo sorry I totally forgot to get the JImster on here.
I have to go out and when I get home I will get him on here and give you some advise
the idiot is posting in the other thread and I cant stand it so i just cant go in there anymore, I actually think that he has some form of mental illness ( I dont mean that nasty I mean that seriously) and he actually makes me uncomfortable, because of how he behaves. so I'm staying away from that thread from now on.

I will however get my lad to give me clear precise intstructions on how to get rid of Firefox and get google.

Have a brilliant day matey,
enjoy the sunshine (well it is here - darnit)
and I will catch you later.
