Missed Dosed

I've been on Seroquel for a few years now for my Insomnia and i recently missed a few days as i was away from home and forgot to take my meds with me, i founf that when i didnt take my regular nightly dose i couldnt sleep at all.

Has anyone else ever had this problem?

yip I have The first thing i pack now is my meds, I also make sure I have some in my handbag for the just in case, like having a baby you always make sure you have nappies with you at all times you always have your meds with you at all times

I have just started on Seroquel for insomnia. I find if I forget to take them or am too lazy to I dont sleep either.

i forget my meds, and really i don't care at times.

I find if I forget for more than a couple of days the next couple are a nightmare while I get back on them.. Its wierd how fast they work again when you take them.

And I only take one! must be really hard for those of you that have complicated regimes.

very complicated in my house Im on three different sleeping pills and have alternate them all so can be confusing but hubby got me a whiteboard for the fridge and I just write up my meds every sunday night so I know what Im taking also it helps to keep a sleep diary, i take mine to my MHS doctor to look at so we can work out what is working and what is not

I use to be on a varity of meds and use to use a pill box to sort my meds out. You can pick up a pill box cheaply at places like the $2 shop. An alternative option is getting your pharmist to box up your pills i.e morn, lunch, night. There is a small charge for this but worth looking into.
