stigma (just me venting really)
Stigma
Before my diagnosis
I would have been taken seriously
Now I know that you roll your eyes
When you find that I’m depressingly morbid
I’m seen as crazy
A basket case
But I’m not
I am who I always was
Before
When I was just me
Not this thing
Now I realize
It’s not about who you are
But what you are
What’s the point in trying?
You’ve already vanquished me
To the mortuary cold chambers
Stigma attached to me
Like a morgue tag on my toe
Identifying me
As a borderline personality
I may as well be a corpse
It doesn’t seem to matter
I thought you were my family, my friends
Until you found out I am crazy
And now I’m nothing to you
But an embarrassment
So continue to belittle me
If you so choose
I’m already dead anyway
A label clearly marked with judgment
Hanging from my toe
While I freeze confined
To the morgue of the damned

Re: stigma (just me venting really)
good-one Angel.....
put downs we get
especially when already down
struggling to return to the the place of even-ness,
the place we love from.
No matter now,Yet its important to get these feelings out
less they swirl around and around inside,
and we loose sight of where the exit sign was.
That is Mad!
From my view-point,when we enter into sanity
we go there by turning inwards,
to face that which we have held back from the light of Day,
because we dont wanna hurt somebody
and in somecases,Ourselves!
Had we not held back, ones inner realm would be full of brightness,
creativity running free and genuinely helpful are we!
VENTING is absolutely neccesary to clearaway the unwanted-dross that draws us into entanglement, where we become confused and have to shout-out without applying conditionings restrictions.
To enter into Sanity is to go voluntarilly insane from my pov
a moment of breaking the Rules(societies rules)which at times
means breaking our own rules,
if we have adopted conditioning un-awarely.
Its fine to Break the Rules knowingly,
we set ourselves free in this manner;only an arsehole who exherts power over others would disagree with me here,
or a Religious Zealot!
By entering into temporary-confusion,we either find a way out by analysing the situation that brought this moment upon us(if one has the time)or we VENT!
Sometimes after a venting,
we find we were perfectly right to say the things we held back on;they were fitting to the core.
But unless we vent
we go mad Not Knowing what insanity truely is,we become unconcious
to our inner world and loose sight of our most precious place,
the place we love from.

Re: stigma (just me venting really)
One can usually do little to combat the prejudice of stigma applied by others.
It is however a dangerous situation if we take the judgements of others upon ourselves.
The opinion of another is just that; opinion, normally ill informed and poorly thought out.
It is a sad indictment on our society that such things are so. However, to exemplify the flaws in their moronic logic is a strong way to counteract such ignorance. I try to be mindful that it is a lack of knowledge and understanding that prevails, and that intent is the lesser part of this annoying evil.
