Hi all have decided that Trademe isn't a safe and kind place to chat and give advice so have finally come over here to see my good friends who have been scared away!!

Hi brucie, what a good idea. I too am really to scared to post what is really going on in the TM thread. Even just posting about how both me and D are sick and he wasn't really paying much attention to me I was very, very, very tempted to put in brackets a message to he-who-shall-not-be-named about how D was still getting time out, managed to hold myself back though.

I'm feeling pretty positive today as I've been to the doctors and have lost 3kgs ( its not much compared to the amount that I've put on on the drugs but its a start)

and shes also happy with me having "upped" my happy pills too, so thats a good thing

Sorry that TM has become such a frustratingly 'unsafe' place to be; I'll do me best to make sure you don't feel that way about 'our place' here at TBBD.

What is different? Well, ya can edit posts any time you want to AND you don't need to give a reason for editing - the fact you want to is good enough.

Ya can also write a lot more without the limit on characters and words that TM has.

If ya think that new or different Topic Areas are needed, just let me know and I'll see what can done.

Ya can send Private Messages to other Members - these really are private - I can't access them through the admin features.

Anything else ya's wanna know, just let me know, k?

Pretty stressed here, just looking into him doing study for the next 2 years for him to do something different for a career! So I'm just about to look into it to see if he can get onto a course and how much he would get a week from study link!! Very scary!!!

Evening every one. Well now that I can talk. I wrote to my sister today on Face book (message). and told her about what was happening with me. this how I feel. Why me. Here I am taking on a six year old boy who I love with all my heart. There is no one else I would trust to do the right thing for this child. When we (hubby and i) first tool the little man on we thought it was only going to be for a few weeks but hello it has been nearly seven months now. I am so pi.. off that the mother can still call the shots. We found out last night that she will be not coming back from Aussie for a while so now we have to settle a child down again. I told my hubby last night I don;t know how much more I can handle all this. I have thought of harming my self just to get a break. The father (my son was ment to help out more as well, but that is a joke. I don;t know what they would do if we said hello we are moving to the south Island. I am also missing my son that is in jail. i might have to up my tablets agin for a while but I will wait and see what happens. Don't you just hate when you think you are getting back on the ladder and it gets kicked out from under you.

It's good to see so many people coming over here

We have 3 little foster kittens again now. They are 10 weeks old and they are healthy so we shouldn't end up having any put down. They are though very, very timid and scared wee things so we have to tame them up enough before they can be fixed and found new homes. All 3 are black, although one is more of a smokey grey/black.

so glad that you have come aboard, this is a safe thread, the thread on TM was getting sabotaged by a person who had/has no empathy and just kept posting thoughtless comments that kept hurting us all.

so this is safe and we can look after each other with out worrying about being judged.

Max ~ if I was in your shoes I would up the anti-mads now, if your thoughts are sliding towards self-harm I thinkits your bodies way of telling you that you need extra help, I myself dont see the problem with upping the anti-mads as they help us to have a semblance of a "normal" life and also to keep ourselves balanced, I recently ( well at least 6 wks ago) upped mine to 3 a day ( had previously been on 1, then 2 now 3) and its made a HUGE difference to my life and how I manage, I am so greatful for these pills.

LC ~ those wee kittens sound gorgeous, especially the one that is more of a smokey grey black colour, I am tossing up whether to get another cat or not but wont at this stage as a dog and a cat are enough to feed on top of the lads ( who are constantly eating us out of house and home)

Books ~ hello thanks for the advise on the lemon tree, I am going to get my Mr 16 to make me a big deep wooden pot out of pellets and will plant one in there. My wee ( or not so wee) Mr 16 is very clever at building things and its good to keep him busy.

Brucie ~ great idea to send Mr T to study, it will be financially hard thing to do but well worth it in the long run tho.
