Support groups in Whangarei?

Hi, I am new here. Is anyone aware of any support groups in Whangarei? I struggle with depression, panic attacks and OCD and really need someone to talk to hopefully other sufferers. Failing that, any members on here in the Whangarei area that would maybe like to meet for coffee and a chat? I am new to the area and would welcome the chance to make some friends. I'm pretty quiet and struggle socially, so this is a big step for me! I will hopefully get around to posting a longer introduction some other time but feeling very low and unmotivated at present.

I don't know if there are any groups of interest you can find via a Northland search on http://www.supportoptions.co.nz/support/links.aspx which is an online guide to various disability support groups apparently? Dunno, I just know the link exists, sorry.

Thank you for your replies! I will check out the Support Options website. Anyone reading this post though and local to Whangarei, I would love to meet! I can travel and have not been able to work for some time, so am flexible if you're stuck at home or can't drive. Regards.

I do head over there every so often to shop (blerk) or visit the dentist (fun)...so maybe we could meet up for a coffee in town one day?
