Political Parties - Health Policies - 2008 General Election
Hiya.
I wouldn't presume to try to influence your vote in this years General Election, but what I thought I would do, is give us all the chance to be more informed about the policies each of the main parties represented in the current parliament, have adopted in respect of people with disabilties, and more general health policies. I've been trawling the official websites of the main politicalparties to track down what info I can for you.
The lURL's below should be safe - I've used them tonight.

Maori Party
http://www.maoriparty.com - their home page. They listed only three policies as at 20 Sept 2008 when I searched their site. None appeared to specifically address either general or mental health issues. But you may have more luck.
ACT

The list isn't in any particular order of perceived merit - its just the order I rembered the names of the parties as I was doing this. If I missed anyone, feel free to add their details.
I'd be interested to know your take on their various 'policies' relating to matters dear to our hearts.
