crisis admission - anyone know?

hi well our pyscholigist is writing up a crisis plan for PES so when i ring up they can bring it up on their computer screen. anyway there is going to be an option of a "crisis admission" on there which means we can go to the hosp for up to 48hrs if we feel extremly unsafe.

has anyone ever had this on their crisis plan? and how does it work exactly? we're hoping to not have to use it but were told today if its not on our crisis plan then we can't "access it"

I've not heard of it sorry but be sure to ask lots of questions as to what it exactly it means and how it all works.....hope you can get some answers....
