TBBD will be open for business as usual on the 25th of Bah Humbug so if you feel like a bit of company, or want to tell us what Santa gotchya, feel free to just pop in or even stay a while.

Oh, and please, take care of yourselves and be kind to you.

Merry Christmas, you lot.

cheers (Sorry, I refuse to use the Santa Hat Icon - I just won't!)

BAH HUMBUG everyone and have a happy and safe new year. Christmas day is one of the hardest of the year for me, my mother ruined it for me after picking arguements with me for nearly 20 years, i dread the day and cant wait for it to be over.
But i hope you all have a day of joy and some serenity. Please be careful when out driving, you may be the safest driver on the road but the guy coming towards you might be a drunken halfwit. So please keep your wits about you and have a safe and happy holiday season.

I'm going to go spend some time with my grandma on xmas day. Seeing as noone else in the family will. She needs to know someone cares at the moment, she has been feeling a bit down. So hubby and i will be going there in the morning, and then going to his families for lunch, then coming home and just the 2 of us spending the night at home together. So got a fill on day. Hope all of you have a great xmas, i'll be in here tomorrow, but after that, it will be boxing day. MERRY CHRISTMAS! santa

Merry Christmas everyone. I try to keep upbeat cos my kids love it (of course). My partner and I are self employed so he works early in the morning (home in time for kids opening pressies)and then we go to a restaurant for a quick lunch with my family (unforunately - yeah right!!!! Wink we can't stay too long as he has to go back to work). It works well for us - hopefully this season we can take some time at the end of jan and actually go away for a break - fingers crossed.
Make the most of the day however you can (I remember one year I was on my own and I spent a couple of hours at the beach sketching - it was actually quite lovely).
Take care of yourselves. I've even gotten my brother a present although we still won't speak to each other (which is the best way for everyone!!! Laughing
and just because I can...

And ours, back to Mr Daze and Molly too, please.

Oh, and Daze ... I would be pleased if you would consider the Honorary position (yeah, it means unpaid, sorry) of Official Special Advisor to TBBD on Matters Concerning Shortbread? Yuuuum. I had a visitor, and three left - the bugger just ate the lot, sob sob sob. And really enjoyed them n he's not a great shortbread fan. So why didn't I offer him some of my other ones? Woe is I. affraid

Merry Christmas to one and all. cheers Well I am just feeling pretty pleased, I survived Christmas day, yay. I usually find it so stressful but managed to get through it ok and come out the other end unscathed. Had a nice family day and no dramas and blood letting lol lol lol. Considering we had an early start of 8:00am with the whole family eeeek. Got home at around 5:00pm and went straight to bed for a lovely big sleepy byes.

It also helped knowing that I could come in here, no matter how the day panned out and be able to let it all out or vent if the need be. So thank you Pat for creating this haven for us all.

PS: I peeped in here the other night, and Pat had the Santa hat on!!!!! jocolor
