ACC senstive claims -grrr

My claim went in on the 2nd if July and we are still waiting fir an answer, Acc have requested all my medical records from my GP, Nelson -Marloborough DHB, Canterbury and Capital Coast DHBs. This includes all my mental health files.

I have done some work with the counsellor in the mean time and worked on some issues.

I am just tured the process is dragging out and wither it is worth sticking with it or not.

Only you know the answer to that Roswell. For some the stresses and struggles of fighting the system are just not worth it. If the claim is just for the counselling support then for those that can afford it, it is often worth just bearing the costs themselves. For those of us less fortunate, who are severely traumatised then I guess it must feel worth the fight.

Though it is a slow process.. I'd keep going with it.. it means that you'd be able to access help from them in the future also, once your claim is accepted, as well as receive help once it's accepted..

I find it's reassuring to know that, so there's help if or when I need help..
