Broken fibula on ankle

Hey people. I have a broken piece of bone off my fibula at the bottom of my ankle. I also have a moderate to severe sprain.
I'm on crutches for the next week or 2 and i'm not to put any weight on it for the next couple of days. On pain killers but only just taking
the edge off the pain. So gonna be online alot over next week.

(((hugs))) Is that from when you sprained your ankle at karate? I can imagine the pain, I've got my left wrist/hand in a half cast for 6 weeks because of ligament damage (I'm left handed too so lots of fun). Anyway hope the pain eases of for you soon.

what type of PAINKILLERS are you using?

funnily enuf, panadol and diclofenac. thats all that the Drs prescribed. I am allowed to take nurofen too. but they only take the edge off the pain. It still hurts like hell. I've been depressed and frustrated all day. I am sick of not being able to do anything by myself, Its only been 2 days and i've had enuf already. I discovered today when i showed my mum my ankle that its black and blue with bruising. Not pretty.
