HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

I’d like to wish a safe and Happy New Year to each and every member here and their loved ones wherever they might be.

I hope that 2012 is a good one for you and please remember that situations and feeling which may sometimes feel absolutely rotten and undoable often can be done and we venture out the other side just that little bit stronger and more able, each time.

Don't forget, we don't have to carry baggage from 2011 around with us all of the time - its OK to leave some of it behind and only revisit and rummage around in the memories, as and when you really need or have to.

We are allowed to smile and find fun or amusement in things and with others and if you empower yourselves to do so, even in little helpings, it really can and does make life that little bit more enjoyable, ya know?

Remember too, that there isn’t and should not be any ‘shame’ about taking psych meds – I call mine, my anti-mad meds, ‘cos I have anti-pain, anti-insomnia and antibiotics amongst others so why not anti-mads, eh? It helps me ‘accept’ them more as a normal part of my life and they become simply part of my daily routine.
