Awesome advice GM Smile

I have found it works in a comfortable armchair too. Smile I'm to heavy to sit in lotus style positions or on floor. Hurts my joints to much lol.

I'm so glad you put this info here, such an amazing and valuable tool in growth and relaxation.

ok GR,
dont bother with the outward 'show'that some people have,
stay with yourself.
I dont sit lotus either,as I have spinal damage from the home invasion.
What I am using today is a small stool with the top tilted 5-10 degrees, which allows the 'spine to kickback at the hip joint connection.
(stickin your arse out like)
That is all that is achieved
when sitting full or basic lotus styles using a Zafu(cushion edge).

My stool is made from 190 x 19mm and my feet tuck under the inverted [__] shaped item.lol,if youre as large as the picture you transmit, then you may need to brace the side-joints with 30 x 30 glued and screwed in place gussets.

stay in contact.
intergration is everything.

I'm not all that large really Smile. I have a heavy skeletal structure due to my ethnicity and a muscular physique. This puts pressure on my joints when my body isn't supported. I will tend to slump. Much of this could be fixed by better core training, but I tend to avoid getting around to that. Smile lol!

you are smart to approach core training in a gental manner.
(consider tai-chi)

When you are big an strong like you are
I suppose you try to hide it and become weakened from turning-in on yourself.I see many big people, strongly built ppl, not wearing their Body very-well.Its important to know what your POWER is GR,and allow it to well up inside you.
This is Your-Indestructable Self!

You must find where your life arises from,
then you would beable to realise what Life is.

You are that!

CORE training equates to the Indians 'sadhana' terminology.
There, (in India)
they see Lifes reason for existance as mainly the developing of ones true self being most important issue in the world we live in.
(they have Many YOGAS for this purpose)

Although 'they' have many facets of religiousness happening within their Culture,
each and every sub-culture have their own sadhana-methodolgy
which is respected by Others.

Respect comes from Objectivity
or vision in the eyes of the Seers in Society
and can be passed down by sharing wisdom
between World-Cultures.

If ones spiritually aint cultured,
sure the world becomes a greater-mess
as day by day,we pave the way
for more of the same.

Mankind seems to have hypnotised itself
to stay asleep in a world of hardship
destined to Make itself extinct!

Imagine if politicians had to have the mandatory Physchiatrists Clearance Certificates before they could Run For parliament!

Guys, could we please take this Thread to the Meditation, Relaxation & Dreams Forum?

This is a good Thread, and thats a good place for it to feel right at home. Very Happy

I know - we didn't have that Forum when this Thread started - but now, we do. And its feeling neglected and sad and unloved because you're here, and not There.

Thanks,
Pat.
