Poor Sod. Empty Poor Sod.

Howdy, MensRoom Blokes, how are ya? Been quiet in here, hasn't it, eh?

Now, this will probably only be a surprise to me – Yesterday, I was out on me scooter and firstly nearly ran an older bloke over on the footpath and then a few seconds later, when passing a ‘Lodge’ I turned the scooter hard left and crashed – into its red-brick wall beside the footpath. Stupid, wasn’t I? I wonder if that was my ‘reactive move’ when faced with running the poor guy over half a minute earlier? Not very fast then, was it. That would be scary. Luck for him he was agile enough to move outta me way. Then.

However:
Today, I managed to ‘get’ the bloke I nearly got, yesterday. Poor bugger.

I mowed him down with a supermarket trolley, Dear Oh Dear. No, the last available Golden Syrup Loaf was not involved; it was in a different aisle entirely.

Mate, I have no idea why I’m picking on ya either, it was just one of those things and hey, even old bones eventually mend, toughen up.

Nah, apparently no damage was done but yeah, what are the chances, the same bloke, and two different locations on consecutive days?

I also managed to hurt meself a fair bit too, crashing the scooter at an entire 3kmph. Sorry Paddys Back and Neck. The Whiplash Kid strikes again!

D’ya thinks that as I seem to keep bumping into that bloke, I should introduce myself properly?
Or stick with the made-up name I gave when I thought he was gunna have Them charge me with bad trolley driving. Pffft.

Pam

I have difficulty with your suggestion that my scooter driving may be less than up to par - I have in fact concocted an answer which satisfies me in every way. I am and was innocent of dreadful scooter driving.

My theory is Thus:

Some front fences (or shop fronts and / or street sign-poles) in Marton and possibly elsewhere release an pheromone or even pheromones which act as an Scooter Attractant. I’m wondering if perhaps there was lurking behind both the shop front and the various fences et al, a devious, highly evolved and specialised niche feeder ‘Meat & Plastic’ Eating Plant? You see where I’m going with this theory? I have to be Innocent – how could I fight a pheromone releasing, scooter-attractant mutant meat eating pot plant? scratch (I couldn't find a emoticon of a plant releasing phereomones, but here is a bloke doing the same kinda thing ... scratch)

Exactly, Pam. Wink

I couldn’t be that bad a driver, surely? Embarassed

I'm off to bed, me necks still sore. Have a good night, eh?

Paddy.

P.S.
I can't quite get the Theory to also cover running the poor sod down the next day - unless, He was in Control of those Plants? Or was buying fresh meat for them because They Control Him???: affraid:
And somehow, my Trolley knew that and acted to save The World! Very Happy
Crikey, thats spooky. And fortuitous.

Ok, I can except that, but Paddy I think maybe another option might be that you and the BLOKE have the same attraction, pheremones, or...Is he lovely??,lol.
