hey you 'weight' :)

Kia ora

I just thought I'd share this wee sugar reduction treat - honey, cause I have lost a huge 1kg, it has taken 2 -3 weeks. I use to refill the sugar bowl daily!! YIKEs! I haven't refilled it in a week and there is still some in it. I now substitute sugar in my tea with Airbourne liquid honey - mild. In coffee one teaspoon of sugar, I only have 2 coffee's a day now, all due to the honey lol (I don't like the honey taste in coffee)

I have Weetbix for breaky with...Honey.

bounce

I've heard mention Apple or is it Cider ? Vinegar also helps reduce weight. scratch

Good on you Poetry.
I have cut all soft drinks out, and am just drinking water and milk. I'm also eating a lot more fruit and veg, and have switched to All Bran for breakfast.

I lost 2kg in my first week - a great start =]

I noticed something really interesting today. I had a stressful couple of appointments where I had to talk about some really personal things and when I came out of those meetings straight away I craved something fatty or sweet to eat.

I suspected I might have been a comfort eater before, but this really confirmed it to me. And I stayed strong and didn't eat anything bad =]

I have lost a bit of weight recently. I have gone from being tight in a 117cm waist pant to being loose in 12cm jeans when I went shopping the other day. I put this down to a couple of things, I have subsetuated sugar laiden fizzy drinks for diet drinks and I drinking more water. I am also eating regular meals, I use to skip breakfast and eat luch late, so the body would store fat as reserves.

Jaffa, your comment about craveing fatty or sweet foods is true. Sugar acts as an artifical seritionan (sp) so when we unhappy or depressed we crave those foods high in suger.

One of my warning signs that I am on a decline is I crave chcolate. I am fine at the mo and still have chcolate from easter untouched!
