In Gods Holy Name Why

I am griefstricken for the woman who was murdered by a Mental Health Patient.

I am fearful for the nurses who will be crucified on the job, for getting it wrong.

I am so sorry that the patient was not properly medicated or assessed so that those caring for her

would know how dangerous she was.

Time and again I have seen this happen here in NZ.

When oh when will it stop?

I have been accused by colleagues of "caring too much", of becoming "involved" with the "client".

This is an ill person who needs to be treated, the consequences of ignoring the red flags are too ghastly to

contemplate.

Now everybody hurts bad.
