'Looney on Scooter ‘Ram Raids Kip McGrath Centre’.
Apparently, someone was crossing the main street in town on a mobility scooter (yep, on a crossing thingy) and when I (sorry, that person) got to the opposite side of the road, instead of turning the scooter either right or left onto the footpath, for some reason that person just kept on going and Ooops, might just have allegedly run into the shop front of a commercial building at a whole 6kph.
The Kip McGrath learning centre building, Broadway, Marton.
Luckily, there were bricks and concrete before there was flash plate glass windows, or I mighta really had a problem. Other than surviving a 6k impact, which actually hurts ya back and stuff more than one might imagine it would.
Sheesh, me poor ole back has had a hell of a hammering in the last 6 weeks, little wonder it’s a wee bit sore from time to time, aye.
I’ve run into a Compulsory Stop sign pole with my scooter on a footpath before now, but I ain’t ever run over any buildings until um, quite recently. Crikey, is Nothing Safe when I’m out scooting these days?
Ah well, at least by admitting my poor driving skills only here in the Mens Section of TBBD, not many folk will get to know about it - after all, we blokes number only a handful here.
Paddy.

As always you have managed to tell a wonderful tale!
Funny that it started out as someone else and then POW it was you............
I hope you didn't do yourself to much damage!! Let alone the wall at Kip Mcgrath!
