Frustration getting wellness support

It's really annoying me...I have (apart from a Dr-induced episode a couple of months ago) been pretty stable the last couple of years, but find from time to time I need someone to talk to who actually understands what life is like living with depression! Counsellor is no good as have a one month lead in to see her, and don't really need an hour serious chat. What I need is people I can meet with occassionally for a coffee and a chat and a bitch about life/depression if needed.

There is the Iris network in Hamilton but so oversubscribed you can't get listed with them...what else can I try (apart from you good people, of course...)
