Job interview

Finally something seems to be going right.

Rang Student Job Search about admin job that looked promising at the local gym.

I was given the details of the person to contact in relation to it and rang them and had a chat. They told me to email my CV, cover letter etc and I discussed the issue of home d with them.

A few hours later I got a call back from the owner who sounded pretty positive and whats an interview on Monday.

The job is 10 hours a week which is the sort of hours I am looking for while studying and getting eberything back in order.

Okay, so now it's a week or two later, how did you get on? I love it when someone has something exciting to tell, it gives me a bit of a blast too. Not much happens round my neck of the woods. lol Hope you got it anyway!! I often wonder if it isn't just what I need, a complete change of scenery and a reason to get out of bed every day.......

No I did not get the job.

I also sent my CV in for another position and got told the standard of my application was high and I pocessed may of the skills and qualities they were looking for others more closely fitted what etc etc etc

I have no rush to get a job but my counselor says it will help my my rehab and I want to get otu for a while.

It may be useful for you prozacmumma. Even if you end up volunteering a few days somewhere.
