I have a couple of books to give away

all I ask is that you give them away when you have read them
A Girl Could Stand Up by Leslie Marshall
When 6 year old Elray reaches up to tuch the moon in the tunnel of love she narrowly escapes a freak electric current that claims the lives of both her parents. Suddenly orphaned she is left stunned and mute, until 2 loving but undomesticated uncles step in.
Cross-dressing Uncle Ajax ainsists on being addressed as 'Aunt', Uncle Harwood is a macho photographer, full of swagger and fond of drink.
I enjoyed the quirkiness of this book.
Mapping the Edge by Sarah Durant
Anna packs her bags one day withougt telling anyone where she is going, just that she'll be back soon. Left at home with good friends is Annas beloved 6 year old, Lily. When time passes and Anna doesnt return everyone makes uneasy excuses until the possibility that Anna may not come back becomes terrifyingly real.
Anna meanwhile is on a journey into darkness. Sedustion or abduction? In one scenario, shes on an explosive sexual adventure, but in the other she is victimof a strangers bizarre and dangerous fantasy!
I find books like this a little irritating hopping from one scenario to the other but it was ok.
Lastly I hvae a year 6 Maths workbook which has barely been used if anyone would like it for there child.

no no don't feel rude, I was on my way to take # 1 son to a birthday party!
