She put her arms around me and said oh mum, please dont take this on board. When I told her the situation was very sad, she said oh PLEASE mum dont cry I dont want to see you cry, can I stay home from work and look after you, I was sooo proud, I saw something in her that I hadn't before. Mylife you are so right we have to embrace it. GM your son rocks honey, I feel proud for you.

ppl in the west dont have much knowledge about self absorbtion Pam.
In the east its termed Samadhi
and comes from ancient Sansrit!
In samadhi, there are 'several states of conciousness' pertaining to the levels of self-absorbtion;MahaSamadhi is the Final Phaze in life and which occurs when the Teacher has died,
and entered the Sub-concious fields of Eternity!
The BRIGHT!
Idea

Samadhi is a word which indicates a person has entered their mind to such a depth that they appear as though as in TRANCE. Entranced!

This brings our MIND powers in Concentration, that would otherwise be shared between the 6 senses.

The state can bring safe rapid learning abilities and serves various purposes also in the spiritual sence.
She maybe a Teacher
as you are Pam!
google it.

this is a final samadhi of a teacher in the Himalayas
I chatted with in 1984...
he died when i left.

Please dont think this is a BAD-THING.
Your Daughter is Fine!

It serves NO_one when we take-on their feelings Pam.
Be strong like your daughter is;she is true like you.

Hmmm, looks like you have found me a whole lot more reading GM.
Ok so maybe I will need to rethink my thoughts on self absorbtion. I have to say it is lovely to see her now being able to make room for others feelings as well as her own.

Yes children do have their own way beautifully.

and we have the pleasure of watching them do so.

They are interesting creatures, sometimes completing feats we never thought possible.

But remember they are also a reflection of those who brought them up!

So if they enligten you, you must have enlightened them!

They watch you grow as you do them.

And you beautifully find your way, as they do too!

I think that is my own 'food for thought'
