I drove today

Post by logical-cents on Tue Aug 11, 2009 4:41 pm

Decided to take the car out to go over to Leamington and check the op shops there for yellow material. Couldn't get the speed up above 40km and managed fine. Was gonna use it to go on and do my grocery shop, but then a stone came up and hit the car so I panicked a bit and drove straight home and parked it up and walked to do my shopping. Figure if maybe I can take it out during the day and even just circle the block or town or something I'll get back onto driving.

Thanks for the support guys. I'm pleased that I was able to drive. But can't afford to panic or freak out at every noise, knock, bump, bang etc while driving, so will need to work on that. Then will have to work on driving in the dark, and in the rain (at separate times of course)

Good on you LC - don't let 'it' beat you. Keep doing what you're doing - little bits and more little bits!

I'm gonna attempt driving to and from work tomorrow. It's not that dark at 6pm so will see how I go.
