Stupid Woman

Pat I read your idiot man vent thread and thought...what the hell...I have been a bloody stupid idiot this week too...and I am SO angry at myself about it...so here is my effort for this week

on tuesday arvo I was running the vat wash...it was double wash day...meaning that a hot alkali wash is chased through with a cold acid wash...I did the alkali wash as usual...filled the tub with cold and went to add the acid only to find the 20 litre container it is measured out of was empty...the other container is a halffull 200 ltr drum...well everyone else was busy (spread out around the farm) and I dont like annoying people who are already working hard out, so I decided that I just had to deal with trying to get 200ml of acid cleaner out of the 3 inch opening in the 200ltr drum...to save another 1000 words I will jump to the end of my sad and sorry saga...I am now at home on sick leave till monday...I have chemical burns to my lips, tongue, gums, soft palate, throat, osophoegus and stomach!!!!!!...I am in pain and am having a lot of trouble eating as EVERYTHING hurts my mouth...then most food gives me stomach cramps...I cant drink coffee...and I am spending more time awake than asleep...I have the worst headache and every gland in my body is up...I honestly cant remember the last time I felt this sick

but the absolute worst part of all of this is the fact that I caused it all by myself!!!!!!!

Ouch, sounds horrendous. I can't see any silver linings on this particular sort of cloud so all I can say is take good care of you, take whatever pain meds the doc allows and hopefully you will be eating and drinking whatever you please again. DO NOT go back to work until you are REALLY ready. Take care.

thanks you lot...I am feeling like a major fool and am still very angry at myself...by my age I should...and actually do most of the time...know better than to make stupid mistakes like this

mylife I tried ice cream and it was to cold and hurt guess I will have to save that one till I get my tonsills out...not sure when that will be though as they have never given me any trouble

and yeah Pat I think I will have to skip the Yodelling champs...and I had braided up a new sparkly set of curly plaits too!!!!!!!
