Grrr....I am so over dealing with this.

Post by becks on Fri Oct 02, 2009 10:17 am

I am newbie so please bear with me! This morning I feel fed up. I have Osteoarthritis and because of this I suffer from chronic pain. I am so very tired of being in severe pain all the time. It doesn't just affect you physically, it takes a lot of mental energy to deal with this. I just feel really f***ed off and angry. Mad Ok winge over. Thanks for listening.

Hi there, it sounds as if you have a lot to whinge about. I don't think many of us can imagine what it is like suffering from chronic pain all of the time but can certainly understand how wearing that can be to never to be able to feel comfortable. I would certainly be feeling f.....ed off and angry too. Good for you letting it out.

Well today is another one of 'those'days. I had expectations of doing stuff around the house as I don't have to work today but looks like that won't happen. I woke up this morning and I'm in a lot of pain. I can barely walk properly and I'm so tired. I feel really depressed. It's not fair. Not only do I have to cope with emotional crap that effects my life, I have the added bonus of being physically restricted. I'm sick and tired of being a f****** invalid. I'm going back to bed to escape from life. Rant over.

Bed is a comforting place to be if you don't have to be anywhere else. But for goodness sake if you are going to make yourself comfy and ignore the day PLEASE enjoy it. A total waste of a good wallowing day if you don't actual enjoy the wallowing. Take care.

Hmmm...don't really know what to make of your reply. It feels like you are reprimanding me. Don't know if that is your intention? Maybe I need to be more careful about what I post.

By the way I don't know if many people who 'wallow' as you put it, actually enjoy 'wallowing'. It is usually a negative experience hence the word wallow and it's true meaning.

Not at all Becks, I always look at wallowing in bed as a great experience. I am in my bed as I type right now and feel warm and cosy. sometimes though, when I don't feel up to getting up I get a case of the 'shoulds' and I don't enjoy my bed at all. Also I think we may have different meaning for the word 'wallow' I thought it was something elephants and pigs and other animals did in the mud to cool down and have a really good time doing it. I know my darling piggies love to wallow in a bit of mud in summer. I get the hose out and make mud for them and they love it. So sorry to offend, it really wasn't intended.

Hey BB thanks for your post. I want to say that I am sorry too. I overreacted and read something in your post that you didn't intend. I wish I could delete what I wrote. There's a lesson there for me. Rolling Eyes

No probs Becks. This is a difficult medium to really get a point across. Without body language, facial expressions and lack of actually knowing each other in RL it sometimes makes it difficult to 'get' what the other person is trying to say.
