*cries*

Post by logical-cents on Mon Oct 26, 2009 10:07 am

I thought I'd got through winter with no sore throats for once. Have had quite a bad cough for the last 3-4 weeks which is annoying but I can deal with, but then wake up this morning and have an incredibly sore throat as well, from experience it feels like it is more than likely swollen. Sad

Perhaps it is like a hayfever? do you get this at the same time each year?

Take care of yourself lc!

No, it's not hay fever. Pretty much every winter I get at least one (if not more) sore throat that I need to go on a 2-4 week course of penicillin or similar for. Have had tonsils out and this year I thought that I'd got through winter without have to be on antibiotics and without have to deal with an infected/sore/swollen throat. But instead it looks like it may have hit me now.

Oh dear, after what you have been through lately that is all you need. Take care of yourself little daffodil. Keep up your fluids and get lots of rest and hopefully it will be all over really soon.

Yea am trying to keep drinking. Eating yoghurts and had scrambled eggs. Gonna lie down and watch a movie I think. If it's no better by tomorrow afternoon/Wednesday morning will have to head off to docs just in case.
