1...it doesn't look much like I am going to have a fulltime job here next season...the boss has said he needs to run through his budget to see if he can afford as many workers as he wants...and 'lucky me' if he cant then I get bumped down to being a relief worker.

2...whatever the outcome of job status we have to move...into a house that is filthy has 5 or more burnt out powerpoints and is missing a big pane of glass in one of the bedrooms...it also means that my son will have to ride his bicycle about 4kms down the road to meet the schoolbus.

3...I can't get a straight answer out of the boss about what type of job he will have for me or wether the house will be sorted before we shift into it.

4...hubby just keeps telling me that it will all work itself out while I am going insane over it...he thinks I am over reacting.

5...I am not sleeping...only getting about 3 to 4 hours a night.

6...daughter is busy job hunting so expects me to help her write cv's and cover letters for every one she looks at and loading me with her teenage angst at the same time.

7...my libido is at rock bottom...infact I reckon a rock would have a higher sexdrive than me right now!!...so that makes hubby a sulky sam...doesn't make me happy either.

8...my energy levels are very very low...due to not sleeping and not eating right...which isn't helped by the fact that I have a stuffed tooth which needs to be pulled out but I never have week days off so can't get to dentist...haven't worked here long enough to have any sick or holiday days owing...even though my contract states I have 2 1/2 days off a fortnight I never get the half day.

9...hubby had a falling out with the male half of a couple we have been friends with for years...infact when it comes to me listing my 'real life' friends they were it...now neither of them will talk to either of us.

10...I have been trying hard to keep it all together but hubby noted the other day that I was looking sour and grumpy...and when I said I am just not feeling to happy about things at the moment his brilliant supportive reply was...oh so you are being like that again are you.

11...I never manage to catch anyone here for a chat and giggle...my time just never seems to suit any of you...and when I do log in at the same time as someone they don't come into the chat room.

12...I am back to that place where I can't afford to drive by myself...I have to have someone in the car with me so I can hold back the voice in my head.

Holding back the Voice in the Head isnt a safe thing at all.
One needs to find new friends who know that dance and being loud is healthy!Dance allows the Bodymind to enliven the mind centre about ones head.
Dancing is fun because it Flushes (fresh)energies thro the mind and for some time, one is free of Ones Worries...Only worrying can bring them Back!

Look in the ph book for a group that practices DYNAMIC Meditation, they do this at the early hr of the morning, and it is so constructed as to utilise the bodies resourses in self healing.
Healing is
Uniting with oneself
afresh!

Hi Britey, Soooo very sorry to hear things are piling up - no wonder you feel like you do ... it's definitely one day (or one hour) at a time just now for you.

Several things occur to me -

You can't live in a 'sub-standard' house - it will need to be fully (properly) livable - no broken windows, power points or anything else - and clean when you move in. CAB may have info on that - there must be a minimum standard from a safety point of view at least.

Insist on time off to deal with your tooth. It will only get worse - enforce your conditions of contract and bring it to boss's attention, in the nicest possible way, what your contract says!

Sorry to hear about your friends - and that people don't seem to be around on here - I come in and out quite often - but there don't seem many people around. PM me if you want - I would love to hear from you - and I know it's not good to be too isolated!

I don't know how far you are from town - but if you could get there and check out anything going on to give you a bit of balance (using the half day in your contract) that might be good.

Try not to worry - I of course don't know your financial situation but maybe a bit less hours at work would give you more time 'for yourself' - hope these ideas are helpful - and know that I'm thinking of you and wishing I could do more!

Special hugs for you ........ Daze

PS - I've been havng a 'me' day - got up, had a shower, went back to bed, read the Dom Post, went to sleep, put some steak and kidney in the oven, going to read more of the paper, watch fav TV programmes, go to bed!!!! I do this about once a year to 're-charge' my battery - But - I don't have children so I can do this!

Hi britelite.

Thanks for posting! Sounds to me we have similar crapola! Whether thats a good thing or not i dotn know, but i do know your health is important so just baby steps, eat better and try and get some decent rest. You cant tackle the world without your strength! AS for your darling husband ... man i hate that! Im sure you have already had the conversation with him many times on why you feel the way you do but i dont think 1 more time will hurt. It feels like every day i tell my partner im not well, im not happy, please try and understand ... actually it is every day but im not going to give up still struggling through each day and i hope each day does get better for you!

Thanks for posting!
Ps - im on now and no one is and im sitting in the chat room waiting and waiting hehehe one of these days we will all get our timing right!

I blerted all this out back in march...after which I felt embarrassed but I did appreciate the responses...and it helped to be able to get it straight in my head seeing it listed...instead of it being a jumbled up mess in my head.

anyway...I thought I would do an update...mylife Im undecided as to whether you are a good or a bad influence I love you

1&3...I now work parttime, I do half the hours for 3/4 the pay, so from that angle I can't really complain...my boss was full of apologises for the less hours but he is a sharemilker and has to cover all the costs of the farm and the low payout for milk did us no favours...plus I now have time to myself which (I think) is a good thing...and I have decided to use some of this time to try and sort my shit out...ie give up smoking, find someone like a counciller

2...the electrics were all fixed...and I was given work time to come clean the house before we moved...it ended up being three windows that were replaced...turned out the stove was naffed but that was replaced...guess the boss does want me here...and when we moved in there was an old farmbike in a shed which the boss had been told was stuffed...well it took hubby 10 mins to get it roaring into life...so son rides that out to the bus everyday...and blats around on it in the weekends...the boss has gifted it to him!!

4,7,9&10...hmm...some improvement but then again...these are ongoing and messy and more than meets the eye.

5&8...my energy levels have lifted somewhat...I am now able to eat properly as I had the offending tooth pulled...and now another one is quitting on me, oh the joys of having bad teeth haha...and most nights I manage about 6 hours sleep...so on the up.

6...daughter got a job...infact she has just traded that job for a better one!!...and she now has her first car and her first serious boyfriend!!

11...well I still seem to pick a lot of times when noone else is around to pop in here...but I have also managed to have some really good chats...I love the chatroom.

12...I can drive solo again at the moment without the little voice speaking of silence and rest and pointing out the huge trees and long drops...which is good because I don't really want to leave here right now.

and there it is...some good...some not so.

hope to catch you all in the chatroom soon
