youre a CAT!
They have nine lives.....

Do you suppose men would want to post intimate-things about their Life in this Here Mens Room,
if they knew women were also posting here?
ie,not all Men are unaware.

Some Men are so embittered to have lost inLove with-in relationship, that they are afraid to OPEN-up around Womb-men.
Some Men feel the Need to Keep it inside
and work from there.

Its a Long painful process
when one cannot trust again.

Same or WoMen.

it is FUN!

Being together with everyone is delightfull!
But paddy maybe started this Mens-Debt for Men
because Men need men to heal
before they can face again 'Women-folk'
without having their Luggage
stiffling the flow.

Men want to Love
also.

GM I wish I could come up with an idea that would work, but i can't. I was thinking if you stated private in your title, that, that would work for me but maybe not for everyone and I understand that. Maybe both the mens and ladies rooms do need to be locked, maybe that is the only way these two sites may work. Hell, I am an open book, so I dont care who reads, but I understand not everyone is in the same space.

Ive always thought
the Womans-Space should be locked only for women to USE!

Ive accidently found myself posting in-there
when i 've come in from 'Most Recent Posts'!
Now,I am more aware
I hardly ever go astray!

This seems as good a place as any to ask this question - Is the 'Ladies Room' space here at TBBD working OK?

I um, don't often visit it, 'cos I'm um, not a Lady. But I see there are some nosey one's in here (just teasing, girls) so I thought I'd take the opportunity to ask.

I'm relaxed about this particular space not doing much at the moment. Its here and its less trouble to leave it than it is to delete it.

Pat, honestly, I think there is a need for both womens and mens space. OK, I personally very sledom visit the ladies room, would far rather hang out here lol, but I can see the need for privacy for some. Can you lock the sites, even as a trial, to see if more men or woman for that matter, would share more???

Since this has become the defacto 'Gender-General' Space ('n that's all good Razz) I thought I might as well say this here.

The Hosts of this place, Forumotion, reckon there is no easy way to set 'Gender' speficic rooms with any real control over who visits them.

The only way would be for me to set up a Group called 'Ladies' or some such, and then go through each individual Membership via the Admin Control Panel and set each up as having 'permissions' to Post in that group or not. And I really can't be bothered doing that, sorry. Embarassed

I'm not paid enough, the hours suck and I have to make my own coffee. Oh, and the HQ of TBBD is a pitiful little town that doesn't even seem to sell ping pong balls for cats to play with. How useless is that?

So the upshot is;
its too hard, and
I'm too lazy, and
we'll all just have to try 'n make do with things as they are 'cos the only other option is to remove both spaces and I don't intend doing that. Thanks,

Pat.

Oh man, you have to make own coffee!!! well that suxs
Maybe then the responsibilty/ acountabitly starts with us. I can see that you have done a fantastic job here Pat, setting up spaces for everyone to post, soooo I for one am no longer going to drift across into the mens room any more, I am going to show the men in this forum some respect and privacy. I can see that there would be times when it would be helpful to have a private space, ie. if your otherhalf was posting, it could be difficult to post as well. There are many other places I can post. I am not even going to peek.

Thats kind of you,
but really the Whole-Lot ought to be rubbished as Blokes probably go into the ladies department purposefully,
to eaves drop.Am I wrong-again guys?

Its an integrity problem really.

Best to remove the whole affair and leave the board OPEN AS.

In the Future, we may see ppl injured in their honesty
thinking that these areas were segregated.

GM, I note your concerns mate, but I'm leaving stuff as-is in here for now.

Personally, (and I'm saying this to anyone who reads it, not soley to GM) I don't see that it should be all that hard for any one to 'stay out' of any particular part of TBBD - all ya have to do, is not click on it.

I have not visited the 'Ladies Room' here at TBBD in ages - and maybe, eight times in all. But the Room seems to be working, from what I'm told. If someone alerts me to a potential problem there, I'll have a look but other than that, I don't NEED to go there, so I don't.

Put it down to my mental illness or something, but I can't understand the fuss, to be honest.

When I notice that a person of the Female Variety has 'been here', I don't feel threatened or worried or whatever. I just can't figure out where they are leaving the baking. Why else would they be visiting us here, if it was not to bring us cake and cups of tea and stuff, whilst we wrestle with and solve the worlds problems?
