ARGH!!!! I swear I am so looking forward to going back home, but I don't know how much hair I'll have left!!!! It doesn't worry me what section you buy. It doesn't worry me what house you buy. It doesn't worry me what the brick or curtains or fire or appliances are going to look like in the new place. Dad doesn't like my taste because I like older style stuff and he likes modern. He knows this so WHY ask for my opinion when you KNOW you're not gonna like it!?!? The only thing that I like that they like is the fact using a dark brick on outside of house instead of a lighter brick. Dad doesn't want chandeliers for lighting, or arch ways for doors ways, or curtain rods that the curtains with holes go on.

They finally sold the house after 4 months (and 12 offers later) and the whole point of trying to sell the house was so that dad could buy land and build again. After the house sold last week he then decided he was gonna buy another house, the next day he was building again, the day after that it was back to buying, then building. Then today its looking round at open homes for a house to buy when he says he's building????

*sigh* Don't get me wrong I love my family and parents, but why do I need to be dragged into this decision when really it doesn't concern me?

Well just yesterday they (dad) decided defiantly they were gonna build. I just get home after catching up with a mate and they now tell me they might be buying? The only reason they put the house on the market was so dad could fulfill his dream of building again.

Ok, well seems like they are now about 95% sure they are gonna build, and should secure the section tonight/tomorrow which will take them too 100% YAY!! So I'm throwing in my opinion about things that I reckon they should/shouldn't do. Up to them to take it or leave it, they ask for my opinion, they can get it.

Going good Smile

They've secured the land and all been signed and stuff so they now own it. Dad was going with builders this week to mark out the house, plans still need to be properly drawn up and sent to council. Mum and Dad been checking out light fittings and kitchens and colors etc too.

Kinda, I'm sorta in two minds about it though. I mean I'm happy for them and that dad is getting to do what he's wanted for a long time. And I'm looking forward to seeing it completed but also feel sad that when I go down in a few weeks it's gonna be the last time I see this house that I spent 16 years in.
