wondering what others think of this
Today I read 'Depression, anxiety, and panic attacks are NOT a sign of weakness. They are signs of having tried to remain strong for to long'
It would be so good to hear others thoughts on: 'Depression, anxiety, and panic attacks are signs of having tried to remain strong for to long'
do you believe this is true?
I think I do

Re: wondering what others think of this
Really not too sure about this one.
I've heard that depression is unresolved emotional conflict turned inward upon oneself. What does this mean..
It means blaming oneself for whatever happened, and having to carry the baggage of hurt around until you can find a way of letting it go.
It Means having to guard yourself, because things that happen in the present can trigger those emotions and cause people to act out or get angry, when the current situation does not warrant it commonly known as over-reaction.
It takes strength to live with depression of that I have no doubt. Dealing day to day with intense feelings that have no rhyme or reason, and therefore cannot be resolved without revisiting that which caused them in the first place, this may not be even possible.
