Welcome to TBBD both of you – it sounds like you’ve met previously which is good.

No need to feel anxious about being here, I hope. ‘Tis a fairly relaxed sorta place even when members face issues which are of the moment and far beyond sometimes quite daunting. We seem to get there, fingers crossed etc.

Feel free to start new threads and to post in existing threads if you’d like to. Its good to see you have already posted.

As a matter of curiosity only would you kindly tell me how you stumbled over this place, TBBD? Hi, I’m Paddy Quinn of Marton NZ – the bloke who started this place in August 2008 ‘cos it seemed like a good idea on the night (insert large expressive sighing noises to suit) and who has no ‘budget’ for advertising or anything else. Heck, I even have to buy the coffee I drink when I’m sitting here at me own creation.

I hope that you find our TBBD family a useful place to be and we look forward to getting to know you better.

Hi Paddy, thank you for the very warm welcome Soiderman and I were on a forum which had some very strange rules ad no real continuity so was recommended a site called Black dog (I think we eneded up here by mistake) but pleased. I am looking forward to finding my way around and settling in.

Hi Paddy, I second that. I was just telling Runaway, we're a bit like Frodo and Sam from Lord Of the Rings. Separated from the fellowship and lost! The site looks good and varied so it'l be interesting to see whats out there.

Nice to see you on here, although me and runaway think ti's the wrong site!!!! there's another one called black dog tribe founded by ruby wax, I signed up to that to but still no sign of her. I was saying to Runaway yesterday that we were like Frodo and Sam from Lord Of the Rings when they get separated from the rest of the fellowship and have to make their own way!

bloody hell I didn't know you got banned!!! I didn't even notice! Shonah mentioned that we were at the big black dog having a drink and they cottoned on cos teddy said it's a good place for a drink and theres a post saying please respect the rules with a link to the rules . You should be able to send a personal message on here, try looking through the members list for me a runaway. Does shonah know?

ahh right ok, i think you cant send a pm until you have been registered 7days, and you cant put external links on thread until you have been registered for 7 days also - I have tried.

blimey we've all done a runner. I'm still active on "the other side" and i'd like to carry on helping where I can. No pressure Rim but you are now the key to bring us all back together!

How are you doing anyway? I'm in a I really hate my job mood today, have been all day and I look at some people that I usually get on with and think... you're actually a door handle aren't you. I want out but it's not easy. Are you eating? How are things going? I've not spoken to you for a while. You can wait until we're all together if you want.

Haha, yeah, no pressure, but I am aware that I can bring us all together again, and I am trying my best, if not I'll just wait 7 days until I can send you all the link.
I'm doing ok thanks, things have been a little tough, my eating is okish but my sleeping along with other things isn't great.
What job would you like to do if you got out of this one?

I've always said my dream job would be a marine biologist. practically I like the sound of working with children. My family say I should go into nursery nursing or child minding. child psychology sounds interesting too but it all means studying again I think.
I dunno what i'd do if I left this job. i'l like to take time out and go travelling like i've said so many times but don't wanna do it alone and cant at the moment!
