Quetapel 25 AKA Quetiapine

HI,

I have had these added to my mix of pills to help me sleep and be calmer.
Bluntly, I feel really shit on them. My head spins...and I feel out of it, even with one, and I am meant to take 4 per day.

First time I took them I was non operation next day. My head was empty. no energy nothing.

My sleep has been shocking for a very long period now, and with that, and my bad feelings lately, extremely agitated etc, its been even worse so last night I did take one..I had stopped using them because they make me feel so out of it.Yes, I did sleep, but its a different sleep for sure. All be it, better than none, its a drug sleep.

Just wonder if others out there are on them and how you get on with them please.

Quetiapine has been the only thing that's helped me sleep. yeah it's different to normal healthy sleep, but so much better than other sleeping tablets! I can actually function reasonably as a result of this stuff.

The first few days were the worse side effect wise. Now I just get the good effects (well... mostly!)

Have been so desperate for sleep I have taken them. I take them just before I lie down. Its all I can do to hold my eyes open in the morning. I am meant to take one to quiet mind thru the day also, but I find I just cant do anything.

I only woke 3 times thru the night. Had to get up to let cat out, and crashed my way along the passage...they really knock me sideways, will that effect lesson did you find?

It did for me. The first few days in particular I felt really groggy, but so grateful for the sleep!!! Now it doesn't hit so hard, and I don't get much of a hangover unless I take a higher dose.

Thanks for that. Yes, I am using mine each nite at present to get some sleep. Still really tired throught the day too. Sure catches up.

If its knocking you out that much you should try taking a smaller amount? Ive been on quetiapine for a while taken at night. I used to only be able to handle taking half a 25mg tab and it was still blimen hard to get out of bed.

But by the time Id had a shower Id usually woken up a bit more. I now take a whole one at night and still knocks me but Im more used to it now, in fact I quite like that spacey feeling! Nice to go to sleep.

But yea try smaller amounts to start, Ive even had them in quarters when really anxious during the day but try not to as can make ya wanna sleep. If you have a pill cutter it makes things easier

They dont knock me out to near the same extent now..infact one night after taking three it was still hard to sleep and stay that way...
