Facing the past

Hi, just thought I'd say hi and say a little about why I registered today. A few things about the past that I thought were done with have been catching up with me, bad decisions that left me feeling very guilty and ashamed. Seems I can't stop punishing myself though and everyone around me as well. I'm not good with expressing my feelings, actually that's not true, it's just the feelings about myself that I don't like that I have trouble with. I'm hoping I might get a few things off my chest here and hopefully won't get judged by you guys as hard as I judge myself. Would be great to hear from anyone who has similar issues - trouble moving on from stuff even though it's been done and dusted for years. How come it still seems to linger, catching me out when I least expect it?

I blame the Black Dog biting me. Buts its probably me, not the poor blameless dog, sigh.

I think that this could become an interesting Thread and I wonder if you'd mind 'starting it again' in the 'General' section of the Board? I'd do it, but I don't want to seem too officious and it's your Thread. So, you can leave it right here if you'd like, I won't mind at all. Tis just my tidy 'Librarians' mind, sorry. My problem, no one elses.
