Should I be here?

Post by Trunkles on Mon Mar 28, 2011 4:25 am

Hi.

It was suggested that I look at your forum and join it, which I have. What I can't see is anything to tell me what the forum is for. My guess is that it's for people with mental illness and that does apply to me; I have untreated bipolar and ADHD.

Am I in the right place?

Simon.

Thank you.

My original post was unclear. My bipolar is currently untreated, my ADHD is treated.

Trunkles,
Hiya and Welcome to TBBD.

What is TBBD? Generally, fingers crossed, its a fairly quiet, innocuous place where folk can talk and share or bitch and whine about pretty much anything they need to, given we have a mixed audience and we try to keep it a bit seemly.

Our Message Board has several sections, have a wander through them to see what sort of threads have been started - and feel free to post in any of the older ones that interest you.

We also have a Real Time Chat Room visible and available only to Members - it has its fits and starts for use - Thursday nights some weeks, just depends on how and where folk are.

Feel free to ask more if you want to.

We have members with mental illness, we have family / friends of folk with an illness, we have a wide range - but none are here as health professionals in any sense. TBBD is a peer, rather than a medical resource if you like.

Paddy.
