how much tamazapam can you have

Hi i have been given this to help sleep im on 20mg last night i only got three hours so was wondering how much you can take to help sleep is there a max dose?

As a source of reliable and accurate information on any of our meds, its hard to do any better than the NZ Medsafe Consumer Data Sheets in my experience.

If you've not had a 'better' answer to your question by Monday, ask your chemist or the Practice Nurse.

I don't know anything about prescribing etc, but I suspect a number of factors might influence what is a safe and prudent dosage and that might vary from person to person, so none of us here could offer you a safe answer, guaranteed correct.

I'd have to say, we 'do' the other the side of mad, not the prescribing bit, sigh.

At the hospital the current max dose is 30mg and that is going by NZ Standards of Mental Health.

If you need more than that you should be trying something else to sleep M-3 because its not working for you.

Have you tried the blue tablet Zopiclone?

Thanks guyz yep tried zoppies hence im on tamazpam as zoppies not working. thanks paddy took 20mg last night got 5 hours so that was cool better than the 3 hours with 10mgs
